At Paavendhar Engineering College, we take pride in offering state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technologies to our Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) students. Our EEE Lab is designed to provide an enriching and hands-on experience, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations and develop essential skills for a successful career in the field.

Lab Facilities:

1.Electrical Machines Lab: Our Electrical Machines Lab is equipped with a wide range of machines, including generators, motors, transformers, and alternators. Students have the opportunity to study the working principles, characteristics, and control of these machines. They gain practical experience in conducting tests, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.

2.Power Electronics Lab: In the Power Electronics Lab, students explore the applications of power electronic devices and circuits. They learn about power converters, inverters, choppers, and their control techniques. The lab is equipped with advanced simulation tools and hardware setups to help students design and analyze power electronic systems.

3.Control Systems Lab: The Control Systems Lab focuses on understanding the principles of control engineering. Students learn to design, simulate, and implement control systems using MATLAB, Simulink, and other software tools. The lab features various experimental setups, including servo systems, PID controllers, and industrial automation components.

4.Electrical Measurements Lab: The Electrical Measurements Lab provides students with hands-on experience in measuring electrical parameters and characteristics of different components. They learn to operate instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, wattmeters, and energy meters. The lab also emphasizes calibration techniques and error analysis.

5.Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab: In this lab, students gain proficiency in programming microprocessors and microcontrollers. They learn to interface these devices with various input/output peripherals and develop real-time applications. The lab is equipped with microcontroller development kits, sensors, and other necessary components.

6.Power System Simulation Lab: The Power System Simulation Lab allows students to simulate and analyze power systems using software tools like PSCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB. They study power flow analysis, fault analysis, and stability analysis. The lab helps students understand the behavior and performance of power systems under different operating conditions.

7.Renewable Energy Lab: Our Renewable Energy Lab focuses on alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, and biomass. Students learn about the design, operation, and control of renewable energy systems. The lab provides hands-on experience with solar panels, wind turbines, and energy storage systems.
